Chemical Free

The main difference between our cleaning and other carpet cleaners, is that we do not clean with a chemical in our machine. Instead, the appropriate cleaning agent is used merely to loosen the dirt or staining and is then flushed away leaving your furnishings safe for your children and pets.

Our equipment is far more powerful than your average carpet cleaner so if we can't clean it, knowone can.

Most spots and stains can easily be removed. Tea, Coffee, Wine etc are simple to remove but sometime require a specialist treatment. Do not rub the stain as this causes friction and heat and may permanantly set the stain. When spotting upholstery its a good idea to treat the whole panel of the fabric so as to avoid causing a watermark which can be impossible to remove.

A nasty whiff from your carpet can be caused by anything from dropped food, a pet accident or even plain water from over wetting. 

Many of these problems can be overcome simply by thorough cleaning, or if that fails professional de-odourisers can be added to the cleaning solution.

One of the most commonly asked questions is 'How long will my carpet or furnishings take to dry'? The answer to this is variable as many factors come in to play.

First of all, are we performing a surface clean or a 'Deep-clean' ? the latter will obviously take longer to dry. Fibre type also plays a part, synthetics dry much faster than wool as wool will hold more moisture as does cotton, where as silk can hold up to 50% more. On average carpets take 2-4 hours to dry, upholstery up to 12 hours. Beware trying to dry things too quickly as watermarks can appear.

As long as all the cleaning agent is removed by rinsing, your carpet should stay clean for many months depending on footfall and spillages. Some man made fibres however loose their dirt hiding properties and appear to get dirty quicker than natural wool. When you've had your carpets cleaned, treat them like you would a new carpet and they will serve you well.
